BYD Han Overview
The Han is BYD’s flagship electric vehicle that epitomizes cutting-edge design and advanced technology. The electric powertrain has a combined power output of 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque, with the two motors effectively powering the front and rear wheels, the Han is an all-wheel drive electric vehicle.

The Han made its debut alongside the Dolphin at the 2023 Philippine International Motor Show. Serving as the flagship model for the BYD brand in the Philippines, the electric luxury sedan has a price tag of P3,688,000 and comes available in two colors: Crimson Red and Doctor Black.
- Platform, Chassis and Powertrain

The Han is a four-door sedan built on top of BYD’s e-platform 2.0 and is powered by a dual-motor setup. The front motors of the Han generate 218 hp and 330 Nm of torque while the rear motors produce 268 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Combined, the total output of BYD’s luxury sedan comes up to 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque.
This power translates to a zero to 100 km/h time of just 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 180 km/h. Energy is supplied by BYD’s Blade Battery with a 76.9 kWh capacity. The Han can reach a claimed NEDC range of 550 km on a single charge. As for the suspension, the Han employs MacPherson strut suspension at the front while a multi-link suspension setup can be found at the back. Stopping power is provided by drilled Brembo brakes on all four wheels.

The BYD Han is equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen with eight speakers that has Bluetooth connectivity and GPS navigation. Comfort is provided by a dual-zone automatic air-conditioning system with a PM 2.5 air purification system.
Meanwhile, other tech features include ambient lighting, LED headlights, a wireless charging pad, power-adjustable seats for the driver and front passenger, as well as heat and ventilation for the driver’s seat.

Inside and out, the Han is equipped with an array of safety features to keep its passengers safe during journeys. BYD’s luxury sedan is equipped with a full suite of six airbags, a crumple-type steering column, a tire pressure monitor, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic camera, reverse parking sensors, and autonomous emergency braking.
