DFSK Motors is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Seres Group, originally formed in 2003 through a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Group and Sokon Group. Headquartered in Chongqing, China, DFSK has built a solid reputation for manufacturing micro vans, flat-bed commercial trucks, and passenger vehicles, including the Fengguang (Fengon) and Glory SUV lines. These vehicles emphasize affordability and family-friendly features, catering to the needs of a diverse customer base.

The brand is moving toward modernizing its lineup with the introduction of crossovers and sedans powered by hybrid and fully electric powertrains. In September 2024, DFSK officially entered the Philippine market, partnering with QSJ Motors, an exclusive distributor known for its tough and rugged heavy machinery and trucks. At launch, DFSK Motors introduced three vehicles: the DFSK E5 PHEV crossover, the Candy Mini EV, and the DFSK EC75 EV Van, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy.
