Moving up in size in the Dongfeng commercial vehicle lineup is the EV35, a larger truck for individuals who need to mobilize or expand their business. Unlike other vehicles in its class, the EV35 utilizes electricity to power it, meaning it has exceptional hauling power without carbon emissions.
The electric powertrain inside the EV35 is a single 100 kW electric motor paired with a 66.8 kWh Lithium Ion Phosphate (LiFePo4) battery pack. The result is 134 hp, 230 Nm of torque, and a claimed driving range of 280 km.
The EV35 is equipped with both AC and DC charging ports which allows buyers the ability to use both normal home charging ports and fast chargers. Plus, the electric motor and battery pack have a respective IP67 and IP68 rating which means floods are not a problem for Dongfeng’s electric workhorse.

The Dongfeng EV35 along with its other electrified stablemates made their way into the Philippine market in July 2023. The EV35 made its mark in the Philippine market as being among the first electrified light commercial vehicles available for sale, providing Filipino buyers a more sustainable choice in the segment.
