The Dongfeng Nammi is an electric car that really lets you go the distance without needing a recharge. It can travel up to 430 kilometers before you need to plug it in again. And when you do need to charge it, it’s quite quick, as it only takes 30 minutes to get a full charge with a fast charger. Launch
In May 2024, Dongfeng Motors Philippines added some fresh cars to their collection to compete with other electric cars like the BYD Dolphin. The Nammi is one of these new arrivals. It is a midsize car with five seats, making it good for families or anyone who needs space. It may be compact electric car, but don’t let its size fool you since it has a lot features such as fast charging and a long range that make it a standout option if you're looking to go electric.
Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
The Nammi has a battery that is long-lasting and also safe as it is made from Lithium Iron Phosphate. It offers flexibility in charging, supporting both AC and DC charging methods so you can charge it using your regular home setup or find a fast-charging station when you’re away from home. The car includes a power output of 68 hp and a torque of 160 Nm, providing enough performance for both whatever drive you prefer.
Technology Features
Technological features in the Nammi include a 360-degree camera view, which provides complete surround visibility for safer driving and parking. It also features Crystal LED headlights for better night visibility and an integrated wireless charger that supports both Android and iOS devices, making sure your gadgets are always powered. Additionally, the car includes concealed door handles and customizable ambient lighting.
Exterior
The Nammi features a modern design with 17-inch alloy wheels and is available in a selection of colors including blue, yellow, and white, in both monotone and two-tone options. It is a great combination of practical and nice-looking.
Interior
Inside, the Nammi offers driver comfort and technological convenience. It features a "Camping Mode" which includes discharge functions V2L/V2V, allowing the car to power devices or even another vehicle, an especially useful feature for outdoor activities or emergency situations.
