The current generation Santa Fe made its official debut in the Philippines on March 15, 2024, The fifth-generation Santa Fe is now boxier and is now only powered by two versions of Hyundai’s Smartstream engine, a naturally aspirated and turbocharged version both with a 2.5-liter displacement.
On July 18, 2024, Hyundai Motor Philippines brought the Santa Fe Hybrid into the Philippine market alongside the Tucson Hybrid. This variant of the Santa Fe came with a launch price of P3,330,000.

The suspension setup on the Santa Fe is fully independent, with a MacPherson strut in the front, and a multi-link in the rear.
