Porsche 911 Dakar 2024

Unveiled in late 2022, the 911 Dakar celebrates Porsche's off-road racing legacy. Limited to just 2,500 units globally, it offers exclusivity while appealing to enthusiasts who value performance both on and off the beaten path. 

The 911 Dakar is based on the 992-generation platform but features significant upgrades for off-road capability. It’s powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing 353 kW (480 PS) and 570 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed PDK transmission and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive. With a raised ride height, reinforced suspension, and special all-terrain tires, it’s designed to tackle rugged landscapes.  

The Dakar is equipped with rally-specific technology, including a "Rallye Mode" for loose surfaces and "Off-Road Mode" for extreme terrain. A front-mounted recovery point, underbody protection, and a roof-mounted auxiliary light bar are optional features. Inside, the car retains Porsche Communication Management (PCM), offering navigation, smartphone connectivity, and performance telemetry tailored for off-road use. 

The 911 Dakar features a raised stance, widened track, and flared wheel arches, giving it a commanding presence. Optional retro-inspired livery packages, including the iconic "Rothmans" design, pay tribute to Porsche’s Dakar Rally heritage. A fixed rear wing, roof rack, and auxiliary fuel canisters further highlight its adventure-ready character. 

The cabin is designed for durability and functionality, featuring lightweight bucket seats, Alcantara upholstery, and unique Dakar badging. While it prioritizes performance, the interior doesn’t compromise on luxury, with options for heated seats, climate control, and a premium sound system.
