Despite slower industry sales in Q3, online engagement in the car-buying process remains stronger than ever with 3.23 million visits occurring on AutoDeal between the months of July 1 and September 30, 2016.
“The outlook for AutoDeal and the industry still looks strong, with audience figures up 37% and customer inquiries up 12% in comparison to that of Q2” commented AutoDeal Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Daniel M. Scott.
Sales occurring on AutoDeal have also increased through steady growth in the subcompact car, pick-up and mid-size SUV segments. The average price of vehicle sold on AutoDeal also grew from P998,000 in Q2 to P1,029,669 in Q3, numbers which are indicative of a 10% increase in pick-up sales on the platform and 4% increase in mid-size SUV’s.
Mobile penetration also remains strong, accounting for approximately 60% of AutoDeal’s audience in Q3.
