Selling your car in the Philippines can be a difficult task, as the options to get it sold quickly are often very few or far between. Owners who want to sell their vehicles will typically try their hand in the private seller market or navigate the complicated process of a dealer-initiated trade-in.
While selling privately may help sellers get the best price for their cars, the whole process can be cumbersome and time-consuming. Sellers will have to deal with multiple inquiries as well as lowball offers that may not be to their liking or appropriate for the asking price of their vehicle. There are also security risks involved especially if the seller has to deal with third-party individuals or groups. Aside from this, there is also the risk of further depreciation on their vehicle if they’re unable to sell it quickly.
Enter AutoDeal and its new Quick Sell and Trade-in features that aim to simplify and streamline this entire process.
What is AutoDeal Quick Sell?
AutoDeal Quick Sell is a new feature that aims to help existing vehicle owners to get the best price for their vehicle in the fastest time possible. The new feature utilizes AutoDeal’s fast-growing network of used car dealers where owners can upload their vehicle details (photographs, questionnaire) and enable accredited used car dealers to bid on the vehicle in real time. Bidding is open for 72 hours, with most bids occurring within the first few hours.
Dealers will then be given an estimated price range for the vehicle being sold, based on the condition of the vehicle as claimed by the questionnaire that was filled up and photos given to them. After this, sellers will be able to book an appointment via AutoDeal for a final inspection of their vehicle. Upon completion of the final inspection, used car dealers can close the deal with the seller via cash or bank transfer.
How are vehicle prices estimated?
Prior to putting your vehicle up for bidding, AutoDeal will provide an approximate estimated price for it based on our vehicle valuation tool. The tool uses data taken from several reputable establishments providing fair market value prices and combined with historic transaction data collected via the AutoDeal platform.
The initial estimate is there so that owners who potentially over-value their vehicles, or who don’t want to sell their vehicles at wholesale rates, are not misled.
Sellers utilizing any tool that involves selling to dealers need to understand that the primary benefits of selling in such a way is speed, convenience, and the fact it's completely free. Used car dealers will often pay spot cash or bank transfer on the day or within a few days from inspection. As such, sellers need to appreciate that the dealers also need to make a profit on reselling their vehicle – this is reflected by the final valuation given to sellers. While vehicle owners might be able to sell higher when selling to a private seller, they need to appreciate that their vehicle is constantly depreciating during the time it takes to sell

“When it comes to dealer pricing; we’re already noticing a wide range of offers between different dealers. This comes down to a wide variety of factors including factors such as turnover time, operating margins, and fixed overheads which vary from dealer to dealer. This is ideal for private sellers because they really get the opportunity to find the best offer,” he adds.
How does the process work?
Getting an initial Estimate
To get an initial estimate on your car via the AutoDeal Quick Sell feature, you can visit our Trade-in or Quick Sell page. There, you will see several drop boxes where you can input the year, make, model, and variant of your vehicle.
Complete a short questionnaire on your vehicle’s condition
After you input the information, move on to the next step which is answering a short questionnaire. The questionnaire will ask about the general condition of your vehicle with regard to any modifications, repairs, or accidents that it may have been involved in. It will also ask about its service history. You’ll also need to indicate the vehicle’s mileage. Upon completion, you’ll be required to submit a scanned copy of your OR/CR. This will not be visible to any used car dealers until you proceed with booking an inspection.
Uploading photos of your vehicle and completing your information
Once you have completed the questionnaire, your next step is to follow the directions given on the page and upload the specific photographs of the vehicle required. We have posted a guide on the page to help you properly position your vehicle. Take note that the photos needed require images of both the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
Upon completion, fill out your personal information–this will only be shared with the winning bidders whom you choose to book a final inspection with.
Wait for bids
Now that your vehicle has been posted you can now sit back and relax and wait for bids to come in. Bidding on your vehicle is open for 72 hours, during which time, we’ll keep you updated in your AutoDeal admin and send you notifications via SMS and email.
Book an inspection and get a final offer
When you have received all of your bids, you can select the one that you like. From there you can set up a final inspection for the vehicle. Take note that the bid is just an initial offer for your car and the final price may still change depending on the results of the inspection. Once your vehicle has been inspected, a final price will be offered to you for it. It's up to you whether or not to accept or reject the offer.
AutoDeal works with fully accredited used-car dealerships and used-car marketplaces across the country; strict terms and conditions are applied to all our partners.
Complete the transfer
Upon agreeing on the final price, you will proceed with the transfer of title and receive your funds directly from the used car dealer. Then, just like that, your quick sell is complete. The process is simple and easy to navigate. You can consolidate all your bids and offers in one place, fielding only the offers that interest you and closing in on the dealer that wants your car the most. Sell your car with us today, save time, get money, and sell quickly.
