Mazda Philippines in celebration of the brand’s 100th year anniversary this 2020 will be releasing a limited edition of the Mazda3 Sportback and of the Mazda MX-5. These 100th Anniversary Special Editions models will be coming into the country with a limited quantity. 15 examples will be available on sale for the Mazda3 and 24 examples will be available for the Mazda MX-5.
Inspired by the brand’s R360 coupe which is the automaker’s first passenger car model, these special edition vehicles will be coming with a special Snowflake White Pearl paint job as well as with red seats and carpets. The two-color retro motif is meant to represent Mazda’s dream and never stop challenging spirit that the brand has continued to pursue from generation to generation. There are no power upgrades that come with these special edition vehicles as these are just limited edition cosmetic upgrades.
For 100 years now, Mazda has remained true to its promise of making cars that defy convention,” shares Mazda Philippines president and CEO, Steven Tan. “As we celebrate a century of manufacturing, design, and engineering expertise, we also would like to thank our customers by letting them commemorate this milestone with us.

He continues by stating that “By making these 100th Anniversary Special Edition models available in the Philippines, Mazda acknowledges the passion of our loyal customers. We wish to thank them for allowing us to create unique products that continue to brighten their lives.”

A special Mazda 100th Anniversary logo will also be embossed on the headrests of each vehicle, along with special center caps and key fobs for each commemorative model. Special badging will also be present on the vehicle that embellished the fender wings and floor mats.
Pricing for these Mazda 100th Anniversary Special Edition models start P1,570,000 for the Mazda3, P2,335,000 for the soft-top Mazda MX-5, P2,390,000 for the Mazda MX-5 RF MT and finally P2,480,000 for the Mazda MX-5 RF AT. It is important to note that the Mazda3 comes with an optional MazdaSpeed body kit that adds P75,000 to the total price of the vehicle.
