The covers are off and the 2025 Nissan Patrol is here with a new look and engine to match. Nissan recently launched the all-new 2025 Patrol, which features a full redesign from the chassis to the cabin. The traditional V8 engine has been swapped out for a more powerful and efficient 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission for smoother driving and better fuel efficiency. Given its revamped looks and features, it looks like the model continues to compete directly with the Toyota Land Cruiser.
The new Patrol presents a bolder, more angular design that remains true to its strong roots and lineage. It features updated dual C-shaped headlights, a striking new grille, and a more defined silhouette that improves its road visibility. At the back, the vertical tail lights pay homage to its previous models, while adopting modern lighting technology for a more modern look. Its dimensions have grown, offering more interior space and comfort.
Inside, the cabin mirrors the luxury of its high-end sibling, the Infiniti QX80, featuring dual 14.4-inch displays integrated into a single panel, improving both vehicle control and entertainment functions. The cabin offers high-quality materials and updated technology, including a Klipsch Premium Audio system and multi-faceted ambient lighting to make the driving experience a whole lot better.
For off-road enthusiasts, the Patrol comes equipped with an adaptive air suspension system and Nissan’s new e-Damper technology, which adjusts the SUV’s ride height and damping on the fly, providing comfort and capability across different types of roads. Six drive modes, including sand, rock, and mud, guarantee it is ready for any type of wild ride.
The new 2025 Nissan Patrol is starting off in the Middle East, but what about us in the Philippines? With its long history and lots of fans here, everyone's keen to know if we'll see it on our streets. Wouldn’t it be great to see it here?
