The fourth-generation Honda Jazz is nearing its debut and what more fitting venue for its debut than the Tokyo Motor Show happening this week. Also known as the Honda Fit in several other markets, including its home in Japan, the Jazz is one of the most popular models of the Japanese marque.
However, images of what seems to be a catalog for the biennial auto show have been leaked, showing the new-generation hatchback in its full form.

As you can see, the 2020 Honda Jazz drops from its current sporty styling, donning a more subdued and an econo-car charm. Gone were the sharp headlights and wing grille as the new design makes way for a set of roundish sweptback headlamps. This is a bit surprising, though, since the new design deviates from the rest of the current Honda lineup in terms of overall demeanor.
Unlike the previous generations of the Jazz that has a seamless flow from the hood onto the front bumper, the fourth iteration seems to have a protruding bumper that supersedes the nose. This confirms our previous observation on the first teaser image that Honda officially released last week.
As for the wheels, there seem to be three sets, with the better-looking ones reserved for the top variants. The all-new Jazz’s profile and greenhouse are also reminiscent of the first version of the hatchback but with different C-pillar windows.
Another thing we've noticed was the availability of a two-tone Jazz but we’re on the fence about it since that will more likely be exclusive to Japan. But who knows, maybe Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) will bring in a two-tone Jazz next year.
Other details are scarce as of this writing, but we expect to know more in the days to come. The all-new 2020 Honda Jazz will be completely revealed in the metal on October 23, 2019.
