Aston Martin Red Bull Racing becomes the third Formula 1 (F1) to debut its 2018 race car. Unlike the previous teams Haas and Williams, we can finally see its contender–the RB14–in the metal (or should we say carbon fiber).
Covered in a special blue and black color scheme, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo took out the new machine for filming at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK. This makes the Aussie the first driver to test a 2018 race car.
Do you love the new livery? Enjoy it while it lasts as the UK outfit says that it will be replaced when pre-season testing begins on February 22, 2018 in Spain. (sob)
Last season, Red Bull Racing finished third in the constructor standings after a slow start due to engine and mechanical problems. Luckily, the team managed to recover in the latter part of the season thanks to a couple of first place finishes by the team’s other driver Max Verstappen.
