
Autostrada Motore, the official dealer of Ferrari in the Philippines, celebrated its 5th anniversary with 2 special guests – the 488 Spider and Angie King.
The company’s anniversary party was held at its newly-renovated showroom in Bonifacio Global City. Autostrada Motore chairman and president Wellington Soong said that the they’ve celebrated “many milestones in [their] short history in the country.” With this, Soong is committed to continue the company’s success.
Gracing the event is the Ferrari 488 Spider, which is equipped with a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 660 hp and and 760 Nm of torque. Shifting is done via 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Italian automaker claims that it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds.
Aside from the 488 Spider, Angie King was also at Autostrada’s 5th anniversary party to celebrate her 1st place finish during the 5th round of the 2017 Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific. This win comes after her successful debut race for the said series where she finished in 2nd place.
As of this writing, King sits in 4th place overall in the driver standings of the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific (Pirelli AM class). The current number 1 driver is Taiwan’s Tiger Wu, followed by Japan’s Ken Seto, and China’s Yanbing Xing.
