Foton Philippines knows that Filipinos love to travel. Sadly, the worsening traffic situation in the metro (and even in some provincial areas) prevents most Pinoys from having a stress-free trip. Luckily, Foton just launched its Toano Limousine, giving customers a van loaded with limo-like features for an enjoyable time on the road.
Exterior-wise, you can’t miss the Toano Limousine due to its sheer size as it stands 2,415mm tall, 5,990mm long, and 2,000mm wide. As for its design, it has a chrome front grille, huge tear drop-like headlights, and fog lamps. Its side have character lines that run along the fenders, just below the door handles, and near the roof to give it some depth.
Inside is where all the goodies are. As the name suggests, the Toano Limousine’s interior boasts a lot of premium features that will make road trips worthwhile. Upon opening its massive sliding door, passengers will be greeted by blue LED pin lights surrounding a nautically-themed interior. It has a two-tone wall design with the lower half having laminated wood that extends to the floor.
The Toano Limousine is also equipped with a clock, comfort meter, power outlets, dual air conditioning system, cup holders, and an electric kettle just in case you want to make a hot cup of coffee or cook your favorite instant noodles.
Speaking of its walls, it’s actually specialized for interior noise reduction. This means its occupants can sing their hearts out without fear of judgement from people outside. Pair it with the Toano’s window curtains, amplifier, subwoofer, and the 23-inch LED television and you’re all set to sing your heart out during karaoke sessions or shut the exterior light out for in-car movie marathons.
And yes, ten passengers get to sit on black and white leather. It has three seats up front, two captain chairs for its second and third row, and bench-type seats at the rear. The captain chairs height, back, and seat angle can be adjusted to its occupant’s personal preference.
Hauling all its weight will be a Euro IV 2.8L Cummins diesel engine that squeezes out 120 hp and 360 Nm of torque. This is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Meanwhile, the Toano Limousine is loaded with safety features such as dual front airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). It’s also equipped with convenient features like headlamp levelizer, adjustable backlight illumination, power sideview mirrors, and remote control power windows, as well as front and rear fog lamps, brake lamps, and LED side mirror signal lights for better visibility.
If the Foton Toano Limousine tickles your fancy, it’s already available locally for P2,580,000. You can even choose from its four color schemes: Phantom Black, Aurora White, Metallic Silver, Amber Bronze.
