BYD Philippines has expanded its dealership network in Metro Manila by opening a new showroom in Balintawak, Quezon City. Located at 1294 EDSA, this dealership is BYD’s first along the gateway to northern Metro Manila. It features a DC charging station and features a full range of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid models, making it easier for people in the area to explore electric mobility.
The Balintawak showroom brings BYD closer to its goal of having 33 dealerships in the Philippines by early 2025. Visitors can check out some of BYD’s newest vehicles, including the Seal Electric Performance Sedan, the Seagull Electric Hatchback, and the Sealion 6 DM-i. The facility includes a 500-square-meter showroom that can display up to six vehicles and a 1,250-square-meter service area equipped to handle maintenance and repairs for electric vehicles. Services include preventive maintenance, warranty repairs, and body and paint work. The DC charging station provides a convenient way for customers to charge their vehicles while relaxing in the dealership’s customer lounge.
Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, CEO of ACMobility, shared that the Balintawak dealership helps bring electric vehicles closer to northern Metro Manila residents. He added that expanding EV infrastructure and offering more electric mobility options can make it easier for Filipinos to transition to cleaner and greener transportation. This year marks BYD’s 30th anniversary, and Liza Yao, President of BYD Balintawak, described the new dealership as a step toward sustainable transportation. She emphasized that the facility offers the latest in electric mobility while supporting a cleaner and greener future for all.
Customers visiting the showroom can learn more about the benefits of switching to electric vehicles. The staff are trained to help buyers find a vehicle that fits their needs if they are looking for performance, functional, or eco-friendly features. The dealership wants to be a space where customers can learn about and experience the future of driving.
The BYD Balintawak showroom is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Service is available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
