Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), the local marketer of Caltex fuel products and lubricants, introduces Delo Sports – an engine oil made specifically for diesel-powered SUVs. This is to cater to the requirement of consumers for a specialized lubricant with the increasing popularity of SUVs in the country.
Delo Sports is the latest addition to the diesel engine oil product family of Caltex Lubricants. It uses ISOSYN technology, premium base oil, and high-performance additives. This gives it high oxidation stability, excellent dispersancy, and anti-wear characteristics resulting in longer engine life.
It also provides exemplary deposit control which is perfect for turbocharged diesel engines that encounter immense temperatures during on and off-road driving conditions.
Caltex Lubricants' new diesel engine oil comes in 2 variants – Delo Sports Fully Synthetic SAE 5W-40 and the Delo Sports Fully Synthetic SAE 10W-30. The former has a performance rating of API CJ-4, while the latter is specially designed for the latest models of SUVs with a common rail fuel injection system where API CI-4 performance is needed.
The 6L (+1L) of the Delo Sports Fully Synthetic SAE 5W-40 is priced at P4,320.46, while the Delo Sports Synthetic Blend SAE 10W-30 has a price tag of P2,468.84.
The introduction of these new products from Caltex Lubricants also ensures a stronger partnership between CPI and Handyman. The Delo Sports engine oil is now sold in over 20 nationwide branches of Handyman located inside Robinsons malls.
In addition, customers that will buy from Handyman and Caltex stations nationwide will have a chance at their promotion called “Release the Power of X.” They will get a free X-Men Apocalypse T-shirt with every purchase of X-Men Promo Packs and a coupon for a chance to win an X-Men: Apocalypse Magneto Helmet, wash bag, movie passes, and hoodies in 4 raffle draws.
The raffle draws will be held on April 25, May 9, May 23, and June 6, while the grand draw will be on June 15. The grand prize winner will receive a brand new Yamaha motorbike FZ16 150cc.
