In the hopes of providing the best car engine care, Caltex’s marketer Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) has rolled out a new line of advanced Delo and Havoline oils. These heavy-duty motor oils (HDMO) are specially designed to maximize the lifespan of your car’s engine, while at the same time, maintain optimum performance.
The new Delo Sports Advance SAE 5W-40 and Havoline Formula SAE 10W-30 use Caltex’s advanced technology formula for both gasoline and diesel cars. Formulated for gasoline engines, the new Havoline oil features Havoline’s advance detergent formula known as Deposit Shield Technology that prevents deposit buildup on passenger and light commercial cars requiring low viscosity. The 10W-30 viscosity grade is formulated for improving fuel efficiency, recommended for Japanese and American cars.

The new Havoline formulation improves oil stability, at the same time increases engine durability, making it a good investment for worry-free stop-and-go city driving and longer weekend drives.
Featuring the ISOSYN Advanced Technology, the Delo Sports Advanced SAE 5W-40, on the other hand, is a synthetic diesel engine oil that has “low SAPS” (sulfated ash, phosphorus, and sulfur). This technology provides optimum protection for SUVs and even high-performance pickup trucks, including the ones with the latest low-emission powerhouses. It does not only protect the engine from gunk and corrosion, but it also promises to produce high torque and power even at low speeds.
For people who are looking for reasons on switching to the new line of Caltex engine oils, both have passed performance standards required by in HDMOs. The new Delo oil has met the API-C series required standards, while the new Havoline motor oil qualifies for the API performance standards of International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSC GF-5) and Resource Conserving (SN-RC).
You may grab the Havoline Formula SAE 10W-30 and Delo Sports Advanced SAE 5W-40 at your nearest Caltex station, auto supply shops, hardware stores, and even online. You may also get a limited-edition toolset with every purchase of 6+1L Delo Sports Advanced 5W-40 promo pack. Meanwhile, you may save P150 if you buy a 6+1L Delo Sports Synthetic Blend 10W-30 with Techron D Concentrate bottle promo pack.
By protecting your vehicle, we are also protecting your investment. For more than a century, motorists have relied on Caltex’s full line of lubricants, transmission fluids and coolants to meet the intense demands of their vehicles. We never fail when it comes to fuel economy, performance and reliability.
