One of the youngest distributors of the Chery brand in the world, United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) receives top honors by bagging the Breakthrough Award from Chery International.
In the Chery Overseas Distribution Awarding Ceremony, an annual event held by Chery Automobile Co. Ltd, Chery Auto Philippines and its parent company, UAAGI, managed to get the award in the event that was broadcasted to the entire Chery global network which comprises more than 30 countries all over the world.
The goal of the event is to recognize the global distributors achieving excellence in performance across marketing innovation, branding, product upgrade, excellent service, and network building.
“It is gratifying to see that all the hard work and efforts by the CHERY Auto Philippines team and our fast-growing nationwide network of dealers are being recognized by our principals."

Other competitors for the award included distributors in other countries like Russia, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Chile, and Egypt. Only two countries in the running, the Philippines, and Brazil, received the Brand Breakthrough Award.
Following its brand launch back in 2019, the brand has since established its digital presence, putting up social media pages, websites, and even developing a Chery mobile application available on the Google Play Store, the App Store, and App Gallery.
Other campaigns like the advertisement efforts with Philippine celebrity, Coco Martin, were executed to make Chery vehicles more appealing and relatable to the masses. Apart from that, Chery also forayed into the world of sports, sponsoring the Chery Tiggo Crossovers volleyball team.
Despite its achievements in the first few years of its reintroduction, Chery Auto Philippines remains dedicated to its products especially with regard to its aftersales programs and promises. Chery automobiles still come with one of the most robust aftersales services in the industry, boasting a 5-year vehicle warranty with a 10-year powertrain warranty for heaping amounts of peace of mind. UAAGI and Chery look to be here to stay, and recognition by their parent company means a lot to the brand seeing as they’ve been in business with the Chery brand for just a few years.
