In case you weren’t aware, Chinese automaker Dongfeng has a partnership with Japanese car brand Nissan. Together, the two companies produce cars under the aptly named Dongfeng Nissan brand, specifically for the Chinese market. Last Friday, the company unveiled the all-new N7 electric sedan at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou).
Scheduled for release in China in the first half of 2025, the N7 marks an exciting addition to the brand’s lineup. Let’s take a closer look at this new electric sedan.
Being the first vehicle built on Dongfeng Nissan’s innovative modular platform for electrified vehicles, the N7 is fully designed and manufactured in China. It promises a smooth driving experience, superior comfort, and cutting-edge intelligent technologies, catering to the demands of the world’s largest automotive market.
A glimpse of the N7 was seen before in the form of the 'Nissan Epoch Concept' at the Beijing Motor Show back in April, and according to Nissan, the N7 electric sedan is tailored for urban professionals seeking to enhance their lifestyles with cutting-edge technology. This medium-large sedan features Nissan's signature V-Motion design, offering a sleek, futuristic aesthetic. It measures 4,930 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,487 mm in height, with a generous 2,915 mm wheelbase that ensures a spacious interior.
Inside, the N7 continues the sleek and futuristic aesthetic. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor, the infotainment system delivers exceptional performance for a seamless connected experience. Additionally, in collaboration with Momenta, a leading autonomous driving technology company in China, Dongfeng Nissan will equip the N7 with the advanced 'Navigate on Autopilot' driver-assist system.
It is also worth noting that the N7 is designed and manufactured in China. Nissan says it is integrating cutting-edge vehicle intelligence from leading local partners with its renowned quality standards to meet the demands of regional consumers.
Dongfeng Nissan hasn’t provided any additional information regarding the powertrain and battery capacity, they have confirmed however that these details along with other key information will be made available before the N7 officially goes on sale.
The N7’s official launch is still on the horizon, but in the meantime, visit the Nissan Car Guide on AutoDeal.com.ph to discover great deals on the latest Nissan models—all just a click away!
