Geely Philippines launches the Okavango Urban Plus. Apart from the panoramic sunroof, which many have been clamoring for, the brand also equipped its latest range-topping variant with other notable additions as well.

While the 7-seater retains a familiar exterior and interior layout, the new Geely Okavango Urban Plus gets a 60-inch panoramic sunroof that features 3-layer shading materials to fully block the sun rays and a rainfall sensor that automatically closes the sunroof when necessary.

The instrument panel has also been upgraded with a larger 12.3-inch fully-digital gauge that comes with three distinct layouts depending on the driver mode it is placed on. In Comfort, the unit displays a beige-colored interface, switching to eco mode will then change it to blue, and lastly, engaging sport mode will project a red theme.

Apart from the added features, it also gets a more advanced Adaptive Drive Beam (ADB) Matrix LED Headlamps. This lighting system has 4 modes, self-adjusting high and low beams, adaptive front lighting with steering linkage, and an automatic leveler.
On top of these upgrades, the Geely Okavango Urban Plus retains all the other bells and whistles found on the mid-tier variant, including its 1.5-liter turbocharged mild hybrid powerplant that’s paired with 7-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission.
For SGAP, it will all be about moving forward and cautiously beefing up the game this year. We will further reinforce our product line up for this year starting with the introduction of the Okavango Urban Plus variant and a few more updates and another model in the second half of the year.
The Geely Okavango Urban Plus retails at P1,478,000, that’s about P150,000 more than the mid-tier Urban. Truly, the extra is well-justified given the range of features added, making it “Wonderfully Distinct Even More”.
