Last January 2020, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) announced that the Geely brand will be opening 15 dealerships in 2020, and 15 more in 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a few of the company’s plans were put on hold.
Despite this, Geely Philippines continued to sail through the challenges of multiple lockdowns and the pandemic as a whole. The brand beefed up its efforts to achieve sales targets and also expand its network of dealerships. For now, 11 Geely dealerships are fully operational around the country, and 13 more establishments will be erected soon.
Here are the dealerships that are operational:
- Geely North EDSA
- Geely Quezon Avenue
- Geely Makati
- Geely Baliwag
- Geely Cagayan de Oro
- Geely Imus
- Geely Cebu City
- Geely General Santos City
- Geely Davao City
- Geely Lipa City
- Geely Zamboanga City
As for the dealerships that are soon to open:
- Geely Iloilo City
- Geely Pasay City
- Geely Manila City
- Geely Santa Rosa
- Geely Angeles
- Geely Bacolod
- Geely Dagupan
Future establishments in the not-too-distant future:
- Geely San Fernando
- Geely Marikina
- Geely Las Pinas
- Geely Marilao
- Geely Tacloban City
- Geely Taytay-Cainta
“We are taking a more aggressive approach in reaching out to more customers in the country this year as we keep up with our target network expansion schedules which were stalled by the long-standing global crisis.”
Geely has been steadily increasing its market share with cars like the Coolray and the Okavango leading in terms of sales figures. These two models present exceptional value for money and a great level of quality that consumers can feel. It’s not hard to see how much Geely has grown. The company started with just one dealership back when the brand was reintroduced to the Philippine market. Now the network of dealers has grown, and the brand is continuing to go strong.
