Tire condition is among the essential elements to take note of in vehicle ownership. It is advisable to regularly check its air pressure, know the numbers written on its walls, and be mindful of its rotation.
Taken this into consideration, Goodyear Philippines introduced the Worry Free Assurance, a warranty coverage which comes with a free emergency roadside assistance.
The warranty insures both the vehicle and the owner of the car. This doesn’t only cover tire-related problems, it includes Goodyear’s 5-year limited warranty, as well as a personal accident insurance of up to P50,000. Not only that, the company has included 1-year Road Hazard Warranty for selected tire pattern. Wrap all of these with a 0% interest of up to 6-month installment scheme.
For those who are uninitiated, we locally have emergency roadside assistance, which is an insurance that is often included in dealers' warranties. This insurance is attached to the vehicle, and covers both the owner and the car. However, the 24/7 roadside assistance does not include 10 year-old vehicles or older.
Old car owners are up to a good insurance coverage as Goodyear’s Worry Free Assurance is attached to the set of tires (or even just a pair) that can last up to 3 years, which is unlike the vehicle-attached emergency roadside assistance. This improvement gives owners of cars that are already ineligible to 24/7 roadside assistance a benefit to emergency service warranty.
To avail this warranty for free, one must purchase at least a pair of eligible Goodyear tires, which are exclusively offered in the brand's Autocare and Servitek outlets. As stated, this then makes the vehicle which uses the tires entitled to all the benefits of the Worry Free Assurance warranty.
The new Worry Free Assurance is now the standard warranty equipped to selected Goodyear tire models, as fulfilled in partnership with MAA Assurance.
