Essentially, an engine needs 2 very important things to run smoothly: good quality oil and clean-burning fuel. This is why Caltex Philippines has put together Havoline and Techron into a Tune Up Pack, to provide the ultimate protection for our engines.
The new 'Havoline Tune Up Pack' is a set bundle of Havoline's gasoline engine oil and Techron's fuel additive. Each set contains 4-liters of Havoline ProDS Fully Synthetic ECO 5 SAE 5W-30 plus a 355 mL bottle of Techron Concentrate Plus, which retails of P2,486.84. There's also a set with 4-liters of Havoline Synthetic Blend SAE 5W-30 and the Technron Concentrate Plus for P1,480.
Either Havoline Tune Up Pack allows motorists to save up to P450 and are now available in selected Caltex stations nationwide. So if your vehicle is due for an oil change anytime soon, you might want to consider this.
If you must know, the Havoline ProDS Fully Synthetic SAE 5W-30 gasoline engine oil is Caltex' latest-generation lubricant that's formulated for better fuel efficiency, lower a vehicle's overall carbon footprint, and is most suitable for city driving. The Havoline Synthetic SAE 5W-30, on the other hand, is designed for passenger cars and light trucks. It has an advanced detergent formula that preserves and protects engines, maintains power and performance while reducing oil consumption.
As for Techron Concentrate Plus, this additive is designed to clean the entire fuel system, including the injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers. This should keep them free from unwanted deposits, restores lost power, and helps reduce emissions.
