Mazda Philippines celebrates the recent launch of the Mazda3 Sedan and Sportback by giving the public the chance to test drive the compact duo on September 6-8 with its Mazda Premium Experience. The event will happen at the 9th Avenue of Bonifacio High Street C, in BGC. Other units such as the Mazda6 Turbo and Diesel sedan, the CX-5 diesel, the CX-9 AWD and the MX-5 RF Club edition will be available for test drives during the three day display period
The Mazda Premium Experience is a unique opportunity for everyone to see, touch, and feel the new generation of Mazda products
The event will showcase the Mazda i-Activsense advanced safety features, new Skyactiv-Vehicle Architectures and human-centric comfort features. These have been introduced in the all-new Mazda3. Through the display period the public will get the chance to feel premium difference of Mazda design and technology.
The new Mazda3 is available in three trim levels. For the entry-level, they have the Elite variant which rides on 16-inch wheels and is available in both Sedan and Sportback forms. One tier up is the Premium variant which rides on 18-inch wheels and features LED adaptive front lighting. The premium variants also come in Sportback and sedan form. Finally, for the top tier Mazda3, there is the Speed variant. It only comes in Sportback form, however, but it features a red interior and a body kit to separate it from the rest of the lineup.
Under the hood of the new Mazda3 is the familiar 1.5 and 2.0-liter engines. The 1.5-liter produces 109 hp and 146 Nm of torque, a little less than its previous generation but still a minor bump in torque. Over on the 2.0-liter engine, it produces 152 hp and 200 Nm of torque.
In the interior, the Mazda3 features Mazda Connect across the line. The system features an 8.8-inch LCD monitor that features USB and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. The infotainment itself is not a touchscreen. Despite this, the infotainment is still capable of meeting your entertainment needs while letting you focus more on the road with its intuitive design.
