Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) has recently unveiled its newest facility aimed at delivering total support to customers. The new Technical Support and Training Center (TSTC) is a 15,900 square meter land area. 5,800 square meters of that land area is dedicated to a two-story building, which is equipped with a service workshop, a technical training workshop, a parts warehouse, seminar rooms, and corporate offices.
The facility is designed to enable HMP to deliver its after-sales commitments to its clients. The TSTC is equipped to address the logistics, transport, and overall automotive requirements of the customer. The service workshop features 14 service bays that are capable of providing quick service to vehicles in order to minimize maintenance time while improving efficiency at the same time.
The Technical training workshop, on the other hand, enables highly qualified technicians to provide on-site training for drivers and customers via a step-by-step vehicle maintenance procedure. The company also allocated five bays and three seminar rooms to ensure that every mechanic is equipped with the proper training and is able to provide quality service.
The Part warehouse will also serve as a storage area for the Japanese quality spare parts that are used when servicing the vehicle. The warehouse features an inventory of 5,415 lineup items serving 71,120 units of spare parts. The parts alone are estimated to cost P160 million, but this is the cost to make sure that Hino vehicles can stay up and running no matter the time of day.
The Motor Vehicle Inspection System (MVIS) is another key section of the facility. It ensures that HMP complies with the government's initiative of establishing a private inspection system to regulate emissions of motor vehicles. MVIS will have two inspection bays, both of which will have brake and speed testers, wheel alignment and smoke testers, headlight testing equipment, side slip testers, and communication systems. All of the testing equipment mentioned all adhere to LTO’s technical requirements and testing protocols.
Hino has definitely come a long way, and all these are rooted in our core commitment to providing Total Support to our customers at all times. Everything that we have done, what we are doing and will continue to do is a testament of how we value a dedicated support program that delivers results and exceeds expectations as the local one-stop shop for truck and bus needs
