In light of the effects of Typhoon Ulysses Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is extending a helping hand via its “Honda Helps” program. The program aims to provide assistance to Honda Car owners affected by the recent storm. Under the new program, all Honda vehicle owners whose cars were affected by the recent typhoon are entitled to a 30% discount on select Honda genuine spare parts. This also includes electronic parts at select Honda Car dealerships and service centers in Metro Manila and Luzon. The special discount will only be available until December 31, 2020.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to our countrymen who have been affected by typhoon Ulysses. In our own way, we wish to extend our support to our customers during these trying times.

The following parts are on discount from HCPI:
-
ECU
-
Throttle body
-
Alternator
-
Starter motor
-
Radiator fan motor
-
Cooling fan motor
-
SRS unit
-
Airbag module
-
Cable reel
-
Fuse box (MICU)
-
Accelerator pedal
-
Meter assembly
-
EPS, heater control
-
Seatbelt pre-tensioner.
The Japanese brand also states that affected vehicle owners can call or visit any of its authorized dealerships and service centers in Metro Manila and Luzon for further assistance and information. Honda also states that “We put utmost importance on your safety and assure you that Honda will provide support and help make things better one car at a time.”
While it may not be a donation in terms of goods or through funds, it is still a step in the right direction. The 30% discount especially on electrical components could prove to be handy especially when it comes to getting a flood-damaged vehicle operational again. The discount will also help ease the burden of affected Honda vehicle owners throughout Luzon and in Metro Manila.
