Deciding on your next vehicle purchase? This interesting deal might be just enough to convince you to get a Honda. Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), the official distributor of Honda vehicles and parts in the Philippines, is offering discounts on various trims from two of their strong sellers in the country. The catch is that you have four days, starting on the 18th of October to the 21st of October, 2018, to enjoy the price cut.
Called the Honda 4-Day sale, you can enjoy up to P35,000 off of select variants of the Honda City and Civic at any of the 38 dealerships nationwide.
Honda’s best selling model in the Philippines, the Honda City has been one of the top choices for those looking at a solid performer in the subcompact sedan category. Offering up a good number of toys such as navigation, cruise control, and LED running lights, the City also impresses with a nice interior and dashboard layout. Powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC gasoline engine that produces 120 hp and 145 Nm of torque, the City is a frugal city goer and highway cruiser thanks to its continuously variable transmission (CVT).
During the promo period, Honda is offering P35,000 off of the sticker price of the 2019 Honda City E CVT and the 2019 Honda City VX Navi CVT. As a first car, it checks all the right boxes, and you can read our review on the Honda City E CVT here.
The Honda Civic also enjoys a special discount during the 4-day sale. This compact sedan combines sporty driving characteristics, two engine choices, and aggressive styling. Available in either a turbocharged 1.5L gasoline variant, or a 1.8L naturally aspirated engine that makes 173 hp and 220 Nm of torque and 141 hp and 171 Nm of torque respectively. Its spacious interior and a good number of toys and creature comforts make the Civic a solid seller, and it’s no wonder we see so many of them on the road. We did a review on the Honda Civic 1.5 RS Navi CVT here.
Both the 2018 Civic 1.8 E CVT and 1.5 RS Navi CVT variants enjoy a P35,000 drop from the sticker price for the duration of the 4-day sale, so be sure to check these models out if you’re still on the fence for your next compact sedan.
