Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) recently presented its prestigious Dealer of the Year Award to Hyundai Commonwealth (HCA). The award was given in July 2023 at SM Fairview during ESJAY Auto Group's (EAG) week-long Car Expo, which was also commemorating its 50th Anniversary at the time.

Founded in 1967, Hyundai Motor Company operates in over 200 countries with a workforce of over 120,000 employees. Committed to 'Progress for Humanity,' Hyundai is changing into a Smart Mobility Solution Provider, investing in technologies like robotics and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and continues to introduce zero-emission vehicles with leading hydrogen fuel cell and EV technologies, aiming for a more sustainable future.

On June 1, 2002, Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH), the official sales subsidiary and distributor for Hyundai passenger cars in the Philippines, was established. The Dealer of the Year award by HMPH recognizes outstanding performance in sales and service.
The award presentation was attended by prominent individuals from HMPH, including President Dong Wook Lee and Managing Director Cecil Capacete, joining ESJAY Auto Group's Chairman, Mr. Amando San Juan, Treasurer, Ms. Carmen San Juan, and President of Commonwealth Operations, Atty. Anna Lynne San Juan-Ponferrada.
"We are deeply honored to receive this recognition which is extra special because it is our first Dealer of the Year award from Hyundai Motor Philippines. We thank HMPH for recognizing our loyalty and commitment to the Hyundai brand. We value the support and opportunity to be working with a global brand whose main thrusts of innovation and sustainability, strongly speak to us."

Hyundai Commonwealth, established in 2004, has been a partner of Hyundai for nearly two decades, making it a huge part of Hyundai's growth in the Philippines. Since then, Hyundai Commonwealth has consistently excelled in sales and service, and the dealership was among the first to adopt Hyundai's Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) in 2015, improving the experience of car buyers.
