Usually, small cars get overlooked for tech, but the latest subcompact revealed by Hyundai is an exception.

Hyundai Motor Company has rolled out the INSTER, a brand-new electric vehicle, at this year's Busan International Mobility Show. The car is part of the A-segment for sub-compacts and brings a lot into a small package.

The INSTER is a small SUV but feels really spacious inside because of its smart design, which includes a longer body and wheelbase than usual for its size. The structure gives drivers more room inside and helps with carrying more stuff, making it a useful choice for everyday errands.

What's really good about the INSTER is how far it can go on a single charge. It offers the best all-electric range (AER), capable of traveling up to 355 km on a single charge, thanks to a highly efficient 42 kWh standard battery, with an optional 49 kWh long-range battery also available.

The battery options power a single motor setup that delivers 96 hp in the base variant and 113 hp in the Long-Range model, both producing 147 Nm of torque.

Inside the car, Hyundai didn't hold back on technology. The INSTER has a big 10.25-inch screen for maps and apps and another same-sized screen right in front of the driver for all the car's stats.

The INSTER also includes Hyundai's latest Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which includes features like a Surround View Monitor, Blind-spot View Monitor, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, among others, making it one of the safest and most technologically advanced vehicles in its class.
