It goes without saying that Christmas is the season of giving. So, if you’re finding ways to give love and help people this season, you might want to buy these handmade crafts by one Manileño.
In a viral Facebook post last weekend, handcrafted pieces of art by Tatay Carlito Romanillos were featured by one of his patrons who got really impressed by his works. These are scale models of anything with wheels, made by the 52-year old craftsman himself.
The models range from bicycles to motorcycles to a Volkswagen Beetle. He even has a scale model of a jeepney that definitely raises the Filipino flag in his artworks.
Moreover, what really caught our attention is the details that each of the models has, which are all made of stainless and aluminum wires. Even the underbody layout of the cars are there, while the doors and hood are also functional.

To get a hold of his artworks, you can reach Tatay Carlito Romanillos at 09164772501, or you can visit him at M. Hizon St. corner Bambang St. in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
The handcrafted artworks sell from P2,000 to P7,000, depending on the type. It may be pricey for some but considering the effort and the quality of the craft, that will be thousands of Pesos well spent. Besides, it’s the season of giving and your money would really go a long way for Tatay Carlito.
