Last week, Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) kicked off the New Year in collaboration with Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and the City of Taguig, showcasing its award-winning performance electric vehicle (EV), the IONIQ 5 N.
BGC’s annual New Year countdown, held last Tuesday, featured HMPH as a key partner. The star-studded festivities began with a performance by Juan Karlos, presented by Hyundai. Headlining the concert were Rico Blanco, HONNE, and K-pop sensation ITZY. The evening’s highlights included a spectacular drone light show and fireworks display, marking the 7th consecutive year of New Year celebrations by BGC and Taguig City.
“We at HMPH are thrilled to have partnered with BGC once again to celebrate the New Year. This celebration commemorated the eventful year that was. Looking ahead, we look forward to a fruitful 2025 – which is why we have displayed our award-winning IONIQ 5 N at the heart of BGC, to serve as a symbol to carry the strong momentum of 2024 and accelerate to a better year ahead.”
If you need a reminder of just how impressive the IONIQ 5 N not just as an EV but also as a performance car, here are a few figures you need to know. The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N is powered by an 84 kWh battery pack and dual electric motors that generate an impressive 641 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. This power is distributed to all four wheels, enabling the IONIQ 5 N to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, demonstrating its remarkable acceleration. With a top speed of 260 km/h, this high-performance EV is not only built for speed but is also primed to take on any racetrack with confidence.
Through this event, HMPH continues to provide avenues for its customers to spend quality time with loved ones, going beyond its role as an automotive solutions provider. Nthusiasts can check out the IONIQ 5 N until January 12, 2025, at the C1 Park, in Bonifacio High Street (BHS) Central Square, in BGC.
