The 2024 Philippine Rallycross Series concluded with yet another dominant performance from the Isuzu D-MAX, securing championship titles in both the UV Class and Pick-up Class. Driven by back-to-back Rally Driver of the Year Louie Camacho, the D-MAX once again proved its reputation as a rugged and reliable contender in the world of motorsports.
Known for its toughness and reliability, the Isuzu D-MAX has long been a staple in both commercial and personal use. But beyond its capability as a hardworking vehicle, it has also shown its mettle in competitive racing. Ending the season with 200 points in the Pick-up Class, the D-MAX outperformed other leading pick-up trucks in the market, showcasing its impressive durability and off-road prowess. It also clinched 186 points in the UV Class after seven rounds, besting six other drivers in the category.
Louie Camacho, who has relied on the D-MAX for two consecutive seasons, highlighted the vehicle’s endurance and engineering.

“My team and I are incredibly impressed with the Isuzu D-MAX. We’ve used it for two straight years without needing any major repairs. That speaks volumes about its durability—it can take on harsh conditions and still perform at a high level every time,” Camacho shared.
In addition to securing multiple class championships with the D-MAX, Camacho also won the 2024 Rally Master Champion titles in both the Philippine Rallycross Series and the Philippine National Rally Championship. He is set to receive the prestigious 2024 Rally Driver of the Year Award from the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP), further solidifying his and the D-MAX’s dominance in the sport.
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) expressed pride in Camacho’s achievements and the D-MAX’s continued success in motorsports.

"We are very proud of Louie and his achievements, as well as the exposure he has given to the Isuzu D-MAX in Philippine motorsports. The D-MAX is a formidable vehicle, and having an excellent driver who understands its capabilities is such a winning combination," said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita.
With its continued dominance on the track, IPC has hinted at further participation in the series, reinforcing the D-MAX’s status as a serious contender in motorsports. Beyond the racetrack, its reliability, power, and rugged design make it an excellent choice for those looking for a tough yet versatile pick-up.
