If you dropped by MIAS this year, you probably saw MG’s newest SUVs on display. MG Philippines pulled the covers off two new models today at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, the MG D90 4WD and the MG ZS Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). The two SUVs are part of the brand’s plan to deliver more options for Filipino car buyers, especially those looking at either a full-size diesel SUV or a more fuel-efficient hybrid.
The MG D90 is a large SUV with a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, which makes 215 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, and follows Euro 5 standards. The top variant also comes with middle and rear differential locks, making it ready for tougher road conditions.
On the outside, the D90 comes with a bold black grille, wide body cladding, and clean body lines. Inside, it has dual 12.3-inch screens, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 8-way power driver’s seat, 360-degree camera, optional second-row captain seats, a sunroof, and 64-color interior lights. It also has a full set of driving safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, emergency braking, and blind spot alerts.
Also revealed at the show is the MG ZS HEV, the hybrid version of MG’s well-known crossover. The ZS HEV comes with a sharper design, LED lights, and 18-inch wheels. It runs on a 1.5-liter engine paired with an electric motor and a 1.83kWh battery. The system puts out 196 PS and 250 Nm of torque and is said to have a fuel consumption of nearly 25 km per liter.
Inside the ZS HEV, you’ll find a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument panel, keyless entry, power sunroof, and a 360-degree camera. It also comes with MG PILOT, a driver assist system that includes cruise control, automatic braking, lane keeping, blind spot detection, and more.
The MG D90 4WD and ZS HEV are now on display at MG’s booth at MIAS 2025, live at the World Trade Center in Pasay. If you’re not able to visit, head over to AutoDeal.com.ph to check out the details and the full MG lineup in the Philippines.
