As part of MG Philippines’ partnership with Miss Universe Philippines’, the brand has then agreed to give out a brand new MG ZS to the overall winner of this esteemed competition. With Rabiya Mateo successfully earning the pageant’s highest honor along with the precious crown, she then became the deserving winner of ZS. Just recently, the beauty queen finally received her brand new ride, with such plans to carry out her duties this season’s Miss Universe Philippines from the comfort of her MG ZS, which she fondly named ‘Abegail.’
Like Rabiya, the MG ZS also carries a remarkable title, with it being hailed as the best-selling of the brand. It is indeed a ride fit for a queen, apart from its stylish looks that have a good presence, this subcompact crossover also comes with a number of convenience features. With Rabiya receiving the range-topping Alpha, then she will surely enjoy the panoramic sunroof and the 8-inch LCD infotainment that has Apple CarPlay capabilities and many other features.
Like the rest of the ZS variant range, the Alpha trim comes with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine that produces a healthy 114 hp and 150 Nm of torque, giving the queen enough power to attend her duties. The said mill is then paired with a 4-speed automatic.
As Miss Universe Philippines I travel almost every day, and I’m very happy to do so now in my comfortable and stylish ZS. I’m excited for all the extraordinary trips my ZS and I will take together, and all the possibilities to see even more of our beautiful country.
Now, like all MG vehicles, Rabiya shall also receive the signature MG service and client care that has endeared this British heritage brand to owners all over the Philippines, including speedy periodic vehicle maintenance (PMS), 24/7 emergency roadside support, responsive customer assistance services, and easy access to MG service consultants via online and offline channels.
