Pickup trucks have always been a beloved choice in the Philippines, catering perfectly to outdoor enthusiasts, utilitarians, and commuters alike. And when it comes to trucks, Isuzu has always been a trusted name. Now, they’ve unveiled the latest iteration of their fan-favorite D-MAX at the SM Mall of Asia Central Atrium. Celebrated not just in the Philippines but all over the world, the D-MAX is back and better than ever.
To celebrate this launch, a thrilling test drive event is happening at Block 20 in the SM MOA Complex from June 20 - 23, 2024. With the Philippines being the third market in Southeast Asia to welcome this refreshed model, excitement is in the air.
The 2024 Isuzu D-MAX is the most advanced version yet, featuring cutting-edge off-road capabilities, enhanced safety features, and state-of-the-art tech to meet the evolving demands of pickup truck enthusiasts. Much like the Thai-spec D-MAX, the updated model boasts an aggressive new front fascia with a striking grille, redesigned LED headlights, and daytime running lights. The meaner front bumper, new alloy wheel designs, tailgate cover, and tweaked LED taillights all add to its commanding presence.
Step inside, and you’ll find a new digital instrument panel and refreshed leather upholstery in the PH-spec 2024 D-MAX. Paddle shifters are standard in the 4x4 versions, along with a sophisticated new display system that shows climbing and turning angles, making every drive an adventure.
Under the hood, the 2024 D-MAX continues to impress with its 3.0L 4JJ3-TCX and 1.9L RZ4E turbo-diesel engines. The former delivers 190 hp with 450 Nm of torque, while the latter offers 150 hp and 350 Nm of pull. Both engines come with a 6-speed automatic or manual gearbox, with RWD and 4WD options available. Plus, the differential lock on the 4x4 variants enhances off-road capability, ready for any challenge.
