Nissan has been on a roll lately with its special editions. Debuting the Fiery Red edition of the Nissan Terra last month, Nissan gave us a touch of different in its offering for the midsize SUV segment. Prior to this, the Juke received a few special editions as well. The N-Style and N-Sport were the two editions that gave the Juke pops of color throughout the car.
UPDATE: The N-Warrior will be offered at these prices.
- 4x2 EL 6MT N-Warrior – Php 1,249,000
- 4x2 EL 7AT N-Warrior – Php 1,309,000
- 4x4 VL 6MT N-Warrior – Php 1,569,000
- 4x4 VL 7AT N-Warrior – Php 1,629,000
The exterior of the Navarra receives some bright inclusions from the Japanese automaker’s factory. Orange accents all throughout the car stick out like a twig in the sand. From the step sills to the ‘W’ in the “N-Warrior” logo at the rear, the Navara gets its a dash of color that will surely make you stand out from the rest of the Navaras on the lot. Functional and notable, because of the Navara’s ride height, a bright orange skid plate is featured prominently to protect the underside of the car from getting damaged while you are out on the trails. At the back the rear bed gets an N-Warrior Sport bar with an LED high mount stop lamp.
The model also receives more subtle tweaks. The once chrome front has been changed out in favor of a glossy black V-motion grille. The rest of the trim pieces that surround the fog lights have also been blacked out. That’s just for the front, and, to keep things short, wherever there was chrome on the regular Navara, it is now black.
It doesn’t stop there, Nissan also gave the Navara a new set of 6-spoke alloy wheels. Like its trim pieces, the wheels come in an 18-inch size, and is complemented nicely by some low profile fender flares.
On the interior side of things, the Navara receives Nissan’s Around View Monitor and it makes an appearance in the rear-view mirror. The system gives drivers drivers an all encompassing view of everything around the car. The interior trim has also been swapped out for carbon fiber finished panels, in favor of a sportier look. Orange accents also adorn the leather seats of the unit, tying in the whole look of the car.
There will be two trims available in the N-Warrior edition, The VL and the EL. Like its regular counterparts, only the VL is equipped with Nissan’s 4x4 system. Other additions the VL has over the EL is the upgraded headlights, steering wheel controls, DRLs, power driver’s seat, and a 3D TFT color display. Also different is the addition of Nissan’s keyless entry system, Intelligent Key.
Apart from the regular differences in trim, Nissan’s N-Warrior upgrades are standard in both the VL and EL trims so additions like leather seats are standard whether you splurge for the 4X4 or the 4X2.
Nissan is giving the Philippine market yet another N-edition of its popular pickup truck, the Navara. Dubbed the N-Warrior, Nissan’s venerable platform now sports accent colors throughout its body, interior retouches and Nissan’s all-round-view monitor.
We’re still getting the SRP of the Navara N-Warrior from Nissan Philippines. We’ll update this article once the information comes in.
