Nissan Philippines is updating the Urvan once again, this time though, it’s way more practical than a simple cosmetic upgrade. As you may remember, in 2023, Nissan refreshed the Urvan line with a new design. The whole range gets a fresh new grille and a redesigned bumper as well as a new D-shaped steering wheel for the interior. For 2024, Nissan is updating the Urvan again but with a focus on safety this time.
So what’s new with this upgrade? Well, to begin with, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), previously exclusive to the Premium trim, is now a standard feature across all versions of the 2024 Urvan. This system actively monitors and fine-tunes engine power and brake usage to optimize stability and handling, particularly in challenging road conditions or abrupt maneuvers. Other added standard features include an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) on all models. Moreover, the GX and Premium variants are equipped with six SRS Airbags, adding an extra layer of protection.
"The Urvan has proven to be a reliable vehicle for the transportation needs of Filipinos, and we are happy to introduce these changes to further enhance its safety."
Last but not least, the 2024 Urvan is now equipped with High Beam Assist, Auto Headlamps, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror, features only previously available with the top trim Premium variant. All in all, these upgrades mean that the Urvan is now safer than ever, and for a car that can ferry more than 10 passengers at a time, it’s a welcome addition that will provide peace of mind to drivers and passengers.
The Nissan Urvan is available right now in the Philippines with seven variants to choose from that can suit your needs.
