The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is just around the corner and Nissan Philippines wants to showcase its best at the event. The Japanese automaker has recently confirmed and announced that it will display exciting new models at the upcoming auto show along with showcasing its latest e-POWER technology.
The next generation e-POWER is a self-charging electric motor-driven system that gives customers a smoother, quiet, exciting, and fun drive. This technology is a 100 electric motor-driven system that does not come with the need for external plug-in charging. While the system itself does come with a gasoline engine, it only runs at an optimal speed to charge the battery when more electricity is needed. The reason why Nissan Philippines wants to showcase this technology in the country is that it is part of its commitment to provide an accessible electrified experience for more Filipinos. The Japanese brand also wants to expand its electrification strategy in the country as well, which comes in handy, especially with the sky-high gas prices.

At the event, the Japanese automaker will also showcase the Nissan LEAF and its vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability. The V2L features allow the use of the energy stored in the battery of the LEAF to be used to power other appliances. This can be useful in an emergency when power from the grid is not available.
Aside from this, Nissan will also be displaying the limited-edition Calibre-X, a new 4x2 variant of the Nissan Navara that was made perfect for versatile city driving. The new variant boasts a new bolder exterior design and comes with the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite giving added advanced safety and convenience. These vehicles and more will be displayed at the brand’s booth area from April 7 to 10 at the World Trade Center during the event.
