Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) is experiencing remarkable success with the Nissan Kicks e-POWER, and it's not hard to see why. This hybrid vehicle is making waves in our market as one of the most budget-friendly options available, offering an exhilarating driving experience that's hard to beat.
In an effort to captivate even more potential buyers, NPI has recently taken to social media to unveil an enticing addition to their lineup: the limited edition Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport variant. This version comes equipped with a set of exterior enhancements designed to lend it a sportier and more appealing appearance, in perfect alignment with its name.
Derived from the mid-grade VE variant of the Kicks, the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport package boasts distinctive silver front, rear, and side skirts, along with a rear tailgate spoiler, also elegantly finished in silver. What sets it apart even further is its exclusive Galaxy Black exterior color, a unique feature that sets it apart from all other Kicks variants on the market.
While these exterior upgrades certainly catch the eye, the Kicks e-POWER Sport maintains parity with the VE variant in terms of its other features. This includes an impressive array of equipment such as full LED exterior lighting, striking 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, an 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen infotainment system, a four-speaker audio system, and comfortable fabric seats adorned with stylish blue stitching. Safety is also a priority, as demonstrated by the inclusion of intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent emergency braking, and a seven-inch digital driver’s display, among other features.
Under the hood, the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport retains the powertrain that has made it a standout in the market. It pairs a 1.2-liter HR12DE naturally-aspirated Inline-three-cylinder gasoline engine with an EM47 AC synchronous electric motor and a 213 kWh lithium-ion battery. Together, these components deliver an impressive 136 hp and 280 Nm of torque. Importantly, the gasoline engine functions exclusively to charge the battery and power the electric motor, ensuring a greener and more fuel-efficient drive.
The Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport is not just any addition to the lineup—it's a limited edition model, with a mere 150 units available for purchase. Interested buyers can secure this unique variant for a suggested retail price of P1,429,000, making it an attractive option for those looking to blend affordability, sportiness, and eco-friendliness in their next vehicle purchase.
