Peugeot Philippines completes their vehicle lineup this year as they officially launch the new 3008 GT Line diesel SUV and the all-new Traveller premium MPV.
3008 GT Line Diesel
This new variant of the 3008 shares the same features of its gasoline counterpart — muscular exterior highlighted by sharp LED headlights, checkered grille, chiselled hood, and the brand’s ‘3-claw’ taillights. Inside, it comes with the second generation i-Cockpit that has the ability to change interior ambiance, as well as activate built-in scent diffusers, driving modes, and multi-function massage seats.
Under its hood, the 3008 is equipped with a 2.0L BlueHDI diesel engine that produces 150 hp and 370 Nm of torque. Moreover, this mill registered a fuel efficiency of 25.39 km/l during the Department of Energy’s (DOE) annual fuel economy run last November 2017.
Traveller MPV
Peugeot also entered the premium MPV segment with its all-new Traveller. This people carrier showcases a modern and sophisticated exterior. It has the same sharp LED headlights found in the French carmaker’s lineup but has an elevated vertical grille with chrome trims.
Inside, the driver can bring its 2.0L BlueHDI diesel engine to life via push start button. It also features a knob for its six-speed automatic transmission. On-board entertainment is provided by a seven-inch touchscreen head unit with five speakers, four tweeters, and a subwoofer.
For comfort, up to seven passengers can seat on its leather-clad seats. Up front, the seats have lumbar support, heating system, and massage function. Moreover, this MPV has second row captain seats while the third row tilts and slides. The Traveller also has automatic tri-zone climate control with soft diffusion. Other premium features include one-touch power windows, sunshade curtains for the second row, and a dual panoramic glass panel roof.
Safety and security is provided by four airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), brake assist, electronic stability program (ESP), visiopark rear view camera, and parking sensors. In addition, it’s equipped with driver assistance features such as Hill Start Assist (HSA), tire monitoring system, and programmable cruise control.
The 3008 and the Traveller are priced at P2,790,000 and P3,390,000, respectively, and will be available at Peugeot showrooms nationwide this month.
