Ford customers will be able to enjoy an easier time obtaining parts for their Ford with the opening of Ford’s bigger parts distribution center. The larger and more advanced facility is situated in Calamba, Laguna, and spans across an impressive 13,000 square meters, marking a substantial increase from its predecessor. With its expanded storage capacity, the facility now boasts the capability to accommodate up to 100,000 vehicle parts, significantly enhancing Ford Philippines' capacity to efficiently distribute parts to its network of dealerships nationwide.
This expansion means an overall better experience for Ford customers, ensuring that necessary parts are readily available with shorter lead times, thus minimizing downtime and maximizing convenience.
The large facility features a total of eight inbound and outbound docks, facilitating swift and efficient reception and dispatch of vehicle parts. Complementing this, the new facility showcases state-of-the-art building and racking infrastructure. The operations of the enhanced parts distribution center are overseen by DB Schenker, a renowned global leader in logistics solutions and supply chain management with a wealth of experience.
“Our commitment to delivering a next-generation Ford ownership experience remains a priority. With our new Ford parts facility now fully operational, both our dealers and customers will have better and faster access to parts. We look forward to giving our customers more confidence and peace of mind in owning a Ford on the back of improved parts availability.”
The larger parts distribution center will also enable Ford Philippines to offer same-day delivery to its dealerships in Metro Manila and surrounding regions, along with daily delivery services to its Ford dealerships across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
