Volkswagen Philippines has slowly resumed its dealership operations in modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) and general community (GCQ) areas. The German brand states that these open dealerships will be following the guidelines set up by the Philippine government’s Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IAFT-EID). Along with the IAFT-EID guidelines, these open facilities will also be following Volkswagen’s own set of guidelines with regards to customer and staff health and safety.
Volkswagen reiterates that these open facilities will have added precautionary measures as stated in the German brand’s Dealership Sales and Aftersales Operations Guide and Recommendations. Volkswagen Philippines wants to assure its customers that all measures have been put into place to keep customers and employees, and business partners protected from the effects of the ongoing pandemic.
As of May 16, 2020, Volkswagen Pampanga and Volkswagen Santa Rosa have reopened. Four more dealerships have also resumed their operations as of May 18. These operational facilities include Volkswagen BGC, Volkswagen Quezon Avenue, Volkswagen Iloilo, and Volkswagen Bacolod. Volkswagen Alabang has also been operational since May 20, 2020.
The German brand’s Cagayan de Oro dealership has already been operational since May 4, 2020, and has been following the local government’s guidelines with regards to operating in a GCQ area. Volkswagen’s Cebu dealership facility, on the other hand, will remain closed until further notice.
In order to make sure operations run smoothly and as efficiently as possible Volkswagen Philippines highly recommends that its customers book an appointment ahead of time. This is done so that the sales and service staff can properly facilitate every customer interaction that follows health and safety protocols. Customers who want to schedule an appointment with the facility can either call the dealership directly or by messaging their respective official Facebook pages or by visiting the brand’s main Philippine website.

The following are the protocols set up by Volkswagen Philippines to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
-
Customers need to wear a facemask throughout their visit

Before entry, body temperature will be checked, then alcohol will be sprayed onto hands, Customers who have a body temperature of 37.5 degrees celsius or higher will not be let into the facility.
