Say goodbye to long waits for oil changes. Shell is making vehicle maintenance easier and more enjoyable for car owners with its wide network of over 500 Shell Helix Oilchange+ facilities nationwide, which aims to reduce the common hassles usually caused by oil changes.

Now, Shell is providing a service that is as brief as a quick visit to a cafe. The improvement of these services was mentioned during the “It’s All Good” media launch at the SMX Convention Center, which was attended by car clubs, motoring fans, and Shell caravan card customers.

Jolo Valdez, Country Business Manager for Non-Fuels Retail at Shell Pilipinas Corporation, mentioned that every Shell Helix Oilchange+ service is conducted by mechanics trained and certified by Don Bosco and TESDA, improving high-quality care for vehicles, which includes the use of premium Shell lubricants and genuine consumables.

Since vehicle oil changes are much needed for maintaining a smooth-running engine—typically every 2-3 months for cars and monthly for motorcycles—Shell has responded to this need. The company expanded their Shell Advance MotoCare Express locations to make sure bikers have more convenient access to timely oil changes, and they've also eliminated labor charges to make the service more affordable.

Visiting a Shell Helix Oilchange+ facility allows you to relax in a comfortable, air-conditioned lounge, watch your car being serviced without any hidden costs, and even earn rewards through the Shell Go+ program. The program allows customers to collect points and redeem them for discounts on fuels, lubes, or other products.

Moreover, Shell gives back through its oil change services. A portion of each service fee goes towards the Shell Helix Oilchange+ scholarship program. The program funds educational opportunities in automotive servicing. Shell also partners with Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. (CBBPI) to provide apprenticeships and internships for graduates of the program, helping to prepare them for successful careers.

Shell encourages all car owners to take advantage of the improved service at any Shell Mobility station for their next oil change. Look out for special promotions and the chance to get limited edition Shell merchandise with your oil change, starting this August.
