Subaru recently received top honors from Kelley Blue Book’s 2017 5-year Cost to Own Awards. This is the 2nd time the Japanese brand was recognized for the same award since winning it last 2015.
The U.S. based annual award is derived from industry-standard ownership costs which include factors such as financing, insurance, state fees, fuel cost, scheduled maintenance, repairs, and projected depreciation.
With this, Subaru’s overall lineup showed the least depreciation and superior fuel efficiency compared to any other car brand in the U.S. market. This was highlighted by the Crosstrek, known as XV locally, which was named as the ‘Best Compact SUV/Crossover’ by Kelley Blue Book.
We are extremely proud to receive these distinguished 2017 Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Awards in both overall brand and vehicle categories. This recognition mirrors our commitment to providing trusted, top-quality vehicles to consumers, both on the day of purchase and for years to come," said Subaru of America, Inc. President and Chief Operating Officer Thomas J. Doll.
Kelley Blue Book is an online car buying website and automotive research company based in America – much like AutoDeal.com.ph.
