Suzuki Philippines has officially launched the highly-anticipated Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) version of the New S-Presso, demonstrating its commitment to meeting the demands and desires of its customers. The New S-Presso AGS is a compact hatchback with an SUV-inspired design and vibrant colors that radiate vitality and positive energy. It effortlessly stands out whether driving through the city's bustling streets or the serene countryside roads.

Norihide Takei, the Director and General Manager for Suzuki Automobile, explains that the introduction of the New S-Presso AGS is in response to customer demand, particularly from those who have eagerly awaited the automatic version. Takei acknowledges the S-Presso's status as a symbol of style and a statement of one's lifestyle, especially among the younger generation who aspire to leave their mark and fulfill their commitments.

The AGS refers to Suzuki's state-of-the-art system that enables a manual transmission to shift gears automatically, eliminating the need for the driver to use the clutch pedal or shift lever. This updated version of the S-Presso offers drivers a more convenient and powerful performance, complementing its distinctive appearance and style. Equipped with a new 1.0-liter K10C engine featuring the Engine Auto Stop-Start System (EASS), the New S-Presso AGS automatically stops the engine when the vehicle is idle, reducing unnecessary fuel consumption.

Despite its compact body size, the New S-Presso AGS offers a spacious 239 liters of luggage space, ensuring ample room for larger items during road trips and adventures. Enhancing the driving experience, the vehicle now features a new generation display audio system with Smartphone linkage and an information display. Additionally, an overhead microphone positioned closer to the passenger enables better voice reception during hands-free conversations, and audio controls can now be conveniently operated on the steering wheel with hands-free Bluetooth control.
When it comes to safety, the New S-Presso is packed with passive and active features. It includes Electronic Stability Program (ESP), which allows passengers to maintain control while maneuvering corners and ensures traction on wet or slippery surfaces. The Hill-Hold Control feature prevents the vehicle from rolling backward on steep slopes, providing peace of mind during challenging terrains. These advanced technologies automatically adjust engine output and apply selective braking to help drivers maintain control and ease while on the road.
The New S-Presso AGS is available in four vibrant colors: Sizzle Orange, Metallic Granite Gray, Fire Red, and White. The AGS variant is priced at Php 660,000, while the Manual transmission variant is priced at Php 620,000.
