Whether you’re an adult or a kid, miniature versions of vehicles we see on the road will always have some kind of appeal. They look like their bigger counterparts and have simplistic engines, perfect for the hobbyist, a gift for your child, or even competition. Tinker Motors, a retail company in the Philippines, brings in a wide array of pocket vehicles (let’s call them that from now on), ranging from motorcycles, licensed replicas of luxury cars, and full size ATVs and UTVs.

I had a friend who bought one of their 50cc green sport pocket bike kits a few years ago, and we did have a great time tinkering (pun intended) with it. Instructions were clear and it only took an hour or two to have it all ready to go. We filled it up with gas and it fired right up. At the time, the product range was limited to just motorcycles.

Currently, Tinker Motors offers over 50 products to cater to various customers. The motorcycles only have 2-stroke 50cc engines but come in sport bike or motocross/enduro variants, all with different colors. ATVs and UTVs range from 50cc to 150cc, 2-stroke or 4-stroke - a good range of engine choices for off-road usage and varying skill. Interestingly, Tinker Motors now offers a range of battery-powered luxury vehicles in tiny form, all licensed and highly detailed. Seating is limited to children, but this could very well be the closest they could get to owning a Land Rover at a young age.

There are different colors of a Maserati Levante, Land Rover Defender, Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG and SL65, and a Jaguar F-Type. Despite being battery-powered, all these vehicles feature a key to mimic ignition starting. There are seat belts for safety, a limited form of suspension, and an MP3 player. Lights are fully functioning, as well. Charging time is 8-10 hours and can run continuously for an hour or two.
All of these vehicles are not street legal, so keep them on private roads and trails only. Check out their whole product catalog with this link, and be tempted to purchase one today. With Christmas just around the corner, it could be the perfect gift.
