Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is bringing back its Toyota Vios Cup and GR GT Cup back this July 2021. After a postponement in 2020, the Japanese brand is proud to announce that it will hold its esteemed racing event which will now include the GR GT Cup sim racing event.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, the physical racing event had to be canceled in adherence to social distancing protocols. The event, being the biggest racing festival in the Philippines, usually draws a lot of foot traffic, which made the mass gathering inadvisable.

Now, however, with several health and safety protocols in place and even a new event to expand on the Toyota racing experience, TMP will hold the Vios Cup in Clark International Speedway on July 2021.
On the back of its success in 2020, the e-Motorsport tournament, the GR GT Cup, TMP has also announced that it will be holding another leg of its sim racing event.

Apart from this, the Vios Autocross Challenge will make a comeback alongside the main circuit event.
Aspiring racers and teams may also avail of one make race Vios units from TMP, through the brand's official race management partner, Tuason Racing. Subsequently, the Toyota Racing School will also be reopened for 2021, and the Tuason Racing School will report on the next three legs of the Vios Cup once again.

Meanwhile, the GR GT Cup e-Motorsports series will continue to be held in 2021. Participants will be able to enjoy the Wakudoki experience in the safety of their own homes. e-Racers will continue to use the brand's halo sports car, the Toyota GR Supra, and continue to race on virtual versions of the world's most popular race tracks.
