The third round of the Tuason Racing’s Race for Frontliners was held on May 13, 2020, on 8 pm, Pacific Standard Time (PST). The round was held with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as the beneficiary this time around. Previous rounds had the PNP Maritime Group and Philippines Coast guard as beneficiaries for rounds 1 and 2.
Al Gonzales, Executive Director of Students' Transformation and Enrichment for Truth-Values Integration and Promotion (STET-VIP), stated, ‘We appreciate all the help extended to us during this time. That we are not here alone and that we can count on a community who will be there to support us when we need it the most.” The outpour of support resulted in a total of 500 food packs to the AFP.
Whether you are at home or in the field, sama-sama tayong lahat. Kaya on behalf of STET-VIP and the rest of its mission partners, thank you for all the support that you have given us.
As for the event itself, a qualifying race was held with E-racers competing for the top position. The participants were provided a standard car to drive at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - Center Race Track. For the qualifying race, organizers instructed all racers to take a 2014 Subaru WRX STI for a few laps. Netting interesting results.
After the evening race, Iñigo Anton dominated the virtual race with the fastest lap time of the event. Blazing past other racers, Anton managed a time of 53.15 seconds around the circuit. For his achievement, we will get to take home an HD TV from LG Philippines, one of the sponsors of the Tuason Racing School’s (TRS) event.

For more action, the next round of Race For Frontliners will happen on May 27, 2020, at 8 pm PST at Tuason Racing Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.
