Shortly after Makati Shangri-La’s delivery of Volkswagen Passat and Jetta as its new luxury fleet few months ago, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa received its own fleet of Jetta as part of expanding its existing vehicle services for its guests.
The purchase of Jetta was arranged through Nissan Car Lease Philippines Inc. (NCLPI), the premium transport for several 5-star hotels in the country. Moreover, the transaction was done in partnership with the executive distributor of Volkswagen in the country, Volkswagen Philippines.
Volkswagen Philippines’ best-selling sedan of 2016, Jetta is known for its 5-star Euro NCAP safety features, efficient turbo diesel engine, spacious legroom, and its comfortable interior. With its exterior design of elegance, the car became an ideal mode for the resort’s guests who would avail for private car service.
Furthermore, the ceremonial turnover took place in representation of Volkswagen Cebu branch manager Ren Dumaraos, NCLPI President Louie Banson, and Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa general manager Renè D. Egle.
Of note, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa recently received Department of Tourism’s 5-star rating and was included among the “Top Resorts in Asia.”
