When it comes to a wedding car, most couples—especially famous celebrities and influential people—like it shiny and elegant. They often go with a classic or modern Rolls Royce, Bentley, or a Mercedes-Benz. These brands are known as the superstars when it comes to grand wedding ceremonies – not to mention, carriages for kings and queens.
However, that wasn't the case for Game of Thrones actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie. The just-married GoT (Game of Thrones) couple rolled out of the wedding venue on a Land Rover Defender 90. Although it was not the special edition Defender Works V8, neither a lavishly-prepared Defender 90, the battle scars on this specific wedding car made it look like very Jon Snow. Harington and Leslie exchanged 'I dos' at the Rayne's All-Saints Church in Aberdeenshire, Scotland – which, in the GoT map, is found north of the wall.
So, if the King of the North wishes his wedding day be located north of the wall, he needs protection against the White Walkers (GoT reference). The Defender (pun intended) sounds perfect, don't you think? Okay, enough with that already, we think we're just excited as season eight's about to come out in 2019. Who else can't wait?

For everyone's reference, Harington plays the role of Jon Snow on HBO Originals' Game of Thrones. Rose Leslie, on the other hand, played the character Ygritte, a wildling girl who has had an unfortunate fate in the fourth season. Meanwhile, the Land Rover Defender 90 is a true British pride of the early '80s. It has 69 hp and 155 Nm of torque and a beautiful muscular design.
